ABOUT

Jane Richmond learned to knit at age 5 only to relearn the craft through books in her late teens. The unlikely combination of her two favourite subjects, math and art, are what lead Jane to knitwear design. She has been publishing her knitting patterns since 2008, many of which are named for family members and friends who are a source of inspiration.

Jane's designs are classic and simple. Her minimalist approach to knitwear design is paired with a dedication to cleanly written pattern instructions. Being both a process and product knitter, Jane's goal is to create knits that are enjoyable to knit and easy to wear. Her patterns offer crisp photographs and plenty of white space.
